About this event:
What is it? It’s An open mic for poetry, spoken word, music, and those looking for the exposure. It’s a featured event for those needing to connect with some of the realest poets, poetess, and spoken word artists out here. It’s a closing performance that you never would have expected to entertain, touch, and fill you with so many good vibes.
When is it? Every Thursday from 7:30pm to 9:45pm
How can I be a part of this? There are many options for you to participate in on this playground. You can come and just be a spectator, you can come and show us what you have to offer by hitting the mic and winning the prize given away, or if you have been deemed a playground elite poet, you can come and play. The choice is up to you and all you have to do is complete the form below so that we have your reservation and are expecting you. *Important* There are only 4 Elite Playing spots available per event. Once filled the others must choose to be a spectator or open mic hitter.
What should you do next? Complete the form below and come out and join us at Island Vibes Lounge in Nashville Tennessee for poetry and spoken word, like you have never heard. ((Payment Options Are Below))
Ways to Pay for your chosen access: (This is not a free event)
- (Pay At The Door) Payment at the door before entering is accepted, but if your RSVP is not made ahead of time and before the cut off, it could result in a higher door fee. (To avoid that fee, simply RSVP!)
- (Pay Via CashApp) Yes we do have a CashApp option for you to make your payment. Simply put your name in the comments of the payment that you make to $PoetsPlayground and show us the payment confirmation when you arrive.
- (Credit/Debit Card) Of course you can swipe it to gain entry to this event, but just know that the 3% fee is on you. We need our coins to take care of the things that we want to do for you. Wait to pay at the door, or check your email for the invoice that we will generate to you with the credit/debit chosen option. (Allow 24 Hours for the invoice to arrive via the provided e-mail. Thanks!)
